[Resolved] Static, noise, limited sound

I downloaded and installed Volumio with the preset NanoSound plugin. After loading music from a usb flash drive, the playback is very bad, full of static and noise. I can barely hear the music in the background. I am using one power connection to the DAC as per the instructions. Is there a fix for this?

Hi John, What did you select under PLAYBACK OPTIONS -> Output Device? It should be NanoSound DAC

If you try plugin in headphone or amp to 3.5mm line out port (see attached) , did you get any output? If you do, how is the quality?

If you using Amp^2, can you verify if Amp is on? https://nanomesher.com/nanosound-amp2-support/

I think it’s fixed! The NanoSound DAC was touching the RPI and causing signal issues.
