DAC2 support for Picore player?

Hi,

I just got my NanoSound DAC2 Pro and want to use Picore Player/ LMS combination . Would be helpful to know how I can get the 1.5" display, GPIO buttons and IR remote (LIRC) part of the NanoSound Dac2 working on Picore Player.

The below link talks about Pi Switch Cap / ProdBoard Support For Kodi. I am looking for something similar to this for NanoSound DAC

Pi Switch Cap / ProdBoard Support For Kodi

Thanks for the pointers.

HI, we dont officially support Picore player but our driver code are open sourced in our github - http://github.com/nanomesher

Do you have examples of how to control the playback functions?  It should be possible to integrate.

thanks

Hi,

Thanks.

piCore player(pcp) uses piCore linux. The player is an emulation of a Squeeezebox network music player that uses LMS which is installed as a plugin on Volumio. Hence I was thinking that the display, GPIO buttons and remote(lirc) should be easier to implement on pcp. Also please note that pcp includes native lirc support.

It would be good to hear your views on how NanoSound Dac in conjunction with your code can be used to achieve this ( perhaps similar to the Pi switch cap from Nanomesher.

The links below for Github talks about SqeezeButtonPi Daemon, a controller tool to use buttons and rotary encoders to control an instance of SqueezeLite or SqueezePlay running on the same Raspberry Pi device in connection with a Logitech Media Server/Squeezebox Server instance

The links below gives lirc key implementations

Ultimately, it relies upon on what you’re looking for in a rubdown chair. If having study this evaluate, you make a decision you may stay with the constraints we’ve outlined, Recliners Hunt then this will be a first rate rub down chair that need to serve you pretty properly. Our sense, however, is that the majority will want more from a rub down chair than just  appropriate capabilities, and unfortunately, the Real Relax is certainly unable to provide greater.
